  i was introduced to this company through a broker from garden realty (another company i will never work with) -- during the process i was given incorrect information, communication was always delayed. and since i was also shopping around, the other lender informed me that information was withheld, which i queried and it was true. they did not have time, or seemed they didn't want to waste that much effort.. these were the usual answers. after i went with another lender , and courteously informed annie-mac of my decision, their reply was: "We talked about chasing an interest rate and thinking you are getting the best deal. Most likely, you aren't. Thanks for wasting my time, including weekends and evenings." even though I got a better *everything* throuh QuickenLoans.. and probably spoke with them a max of 3 occasions, all of which was appointed on their convenience.

  I would suggest not using this company. I was pretty far down the process with another local company and saw a very, very low rate listed by these guys on Bankrate. I engaged with them and they quoted via email a rate that was worth switching over to. I provided all the application paperwork, they pulled my credit and I paid for an appraisal. Each time and step we took they raised their rate (via email) as the market rates were lowering. By the time I was ready to make a decision they were more than my original loan and they made up some silly excuses that it was their investors raising their rates. Please.. I've been in sales for 23 years and know a bait and switch deal when I see one. The good news is my original rate with the other company lowered with the market .375 and I closed this week. I was lucky..but you may not be. I hope this helps.

  Seemed nice and polite to deal with at first but that all went down hill when it came time to put in an offer. Looked at two offers and two different scenarios with a 203 k loan when the monthly payment came in 400 dollars more than a previous estimate for the same loan amount in the first scenario. When I asked I was told because of the increase in fixed cost which they claimed was because the taxes at the property were much higher compared to the other house I looked at. The tax difference was 600 a year not sure how that translates in an additional 400 a month. The guy couldn't and wouldn't explain in detail and snubbed me because he was apparently getting in his car and had other clients to meet. Not giving this company my business and neither should you. Very disrespectful and not honest to work with.
